I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Create structured, textable product requirements and state machines specifically designed to be consumed by AI coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor.
- Define and prioritize the MVP roadmap across three distinct user bases: retail traders, marketing affiliates, and global B2B brokerage firms.
- Design complex AI agent interaction patterns for automated onboarding, support decision trees, and real-time attribution tracking systems.
The ideal candidate
- 4-8+ years of product management experience at early-stage startups, with a proven track record of shipping successful 0-to-1 fintech or trading products.
- Deep AI-native fluency, including experience building with LLMs, agents, or chatbots where AI is the primary interface rather than a bolt-on feature.
- Strong technical background capable of discussing microservices, MCP protocols, and APIs while producing documentation structured for agentic development.
