Why this role is remarkable
- True founding role: You are the first dedicated sales hire with the autonomy to build the playbook, define target segments, and directly influence the product roadmap.
- Massive market opportunity: Property management is traditionally tech-lagging and reliant on manual processes, providing a wide-open landscape for Sorto's modern, efficiency-focused SaaS solution to disrupt the industry.
- Direct founder collaboration: Work side-by-side with the founder in a fast-paced environment where your feedback directly impacts pricing, messaging, and the long-term trajectory of the company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You Will Do
- Execute end-to-end outbound sales strategies, including identifying high-value targets, cold calling, and persistent follow-up to build a robust pipeline of letting and estate agents.
- Conduct high-impact software demos that translate Sorto’s technical features into tangible business value, effectively addressing specific pain points like administrative friction and poor visibility.
- Negotiate and close deals with key decision-makers, navigating objections around pricing and system adoption to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to active customer.
The ideal candidate
- Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS or PropTech sales, specifically targeting SMEs or property agencies with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding outbound targets.
- Expert-level prospecting and closing skills, with the ability to manage a full-cycle sales process independently without the support of a dedicated SDR or marketing-generated pipeline.
- Exceptional communication and resilience, capable of translating customer feedback into actionable insights for the product team while maintaining high activity levels and organizational discipline in a CRM.
