Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed technology company that is transforming the insurance claims space. Operating as an AI-native Third-Party Administrator (TPA) within a $200B industry, our client pairs an expert in-house claims team with advanced proprietary software. This hybrid approach delivers faster resolutions, improved outcomes, and a significantly more humane experience for policyholders during vulnerable times.

Having secured over $15M in funding from top-tier global venture capital firms, our client already manages operations representing over $200M in insurance premiums across a diverse partner base of more than 50 organizations, including multiple publicly traded enterprises.

With strong market traction and an urgent mission, our client recognizes that exceptional people are the foundation of their success. They are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Founding Talent Lead to serve as their first dedicated recruitment hire. Working directly with the founding team, this individual will build the organization's recruiting engine from scratch, partner with leadership across all business units (engineering, sales, claims, and operations) to define excellence, and relentlessly source high-caliber professionals who will raise the bar for the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment Management: Own the full hiring lifecycle, including crafting compelling position profiles, designing highly predictive interview stages, facilitating hiring decisions, delivering offers, and successfully closing exceptional candidates.
  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Generation: Proactively surface passive talent through targeted outbound sourcing, professional network referrals, creative channel discovery, and long-term relationship building ahead of hiring needs.
  • Recruitment System Infrastructure: Build, evaluate, and continuously refine scalable recruitment systems, processes, and applicant tracking workflows to support rapid, high-signal talent assessment.
  • Referral Network Engineering: Design and optimize internal employee referral initiatives to leverage the collective networks of the current team.
  • People & Onboarding Infrastructure: Collaborate on initial post-hire touchpoints, helping to establish structured onboarding, human resources processes, and early performance management frameworks so new hires transition smoothly and productively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
