Job Title: FP&A Analyst

Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid)

Type: Full-time, permanent

About the role:

As our FP&A Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping our Product Certification division with our Regulatory Services business understand its financial performance and make informed commercial decisions. Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner and operational leaders, you'll analyse financial and operational data, identify trends, explain variances and deliver meaningful insights that support budgeting, forecasting and business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in finance or commercial analysis who enjoys working with data and partnering with stakeholders. Whether you're qualified by experience or studying towards a professional qualification, you'll gain exposure to senior leaders, influence decision-making through insightful analysis rather than routine accounting, and continue developing your commercial finance career within a growing global business. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, eager to learn and confident communicating financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational managers to provide financial analysis, reporting, and commercial insights that support business decisions.
  • Analyse monthly performance, investigate variances, and produce clear commentary that explains the story behind the numbers.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities through robust financial modelling and analysis.
  • Interrogate large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities, turning complex information into meaningful recommendations.
  • Develop and improve recurring reports, helping to automate and standardise financial reporting where possible.
  • Support commercial activities including pricing analysis, business cases and financial evaluations for new products and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing financial guidance in a clear and accessible way.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
