Commercial FP&A Analyst – Finance team

The Team
The Finance team is at the heart of Liberis operations and supports future growth through:
- Providing insightful financial information to management and investors
- Developing scalable finance platforms with robust oversight and compliance
Our current team of sixteen professionals spans London and Mumbai. You’ll work closely with our global operational teams as part of a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative group of enthusiastic finance experts.
The Role
Commercial FP&A owns unit economics, commercial models, and planning/forecasting, shaping the company’s strategic direction. This role sits at the heart of investment and leadership decisions.

As an FP&A Analyst, you will:
- Be a rising star with real ownership from day one.
- Contribute to budgetary forecasting while growing into business partnering over your first year.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and refine monthly financial reporting, breaking down key performance drivers.
- Develop and enhance forecasting models to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate across teams to understand costs and performance holistically.
- Support annual budgeting cycles and oversee 3–5 year financial projections.
- Analyze unit economics – dissecting profitability drivers across the business.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
✅ Accounting background preferred – Part-qualified or chartered (ABA/ACA). Study support available for part-qualified candidates. ✅ 2+ years in practice, FP&A, or finance roles. ✅ Advanced Excel and modelling skills – Comfortable handling large structured datasets with thorough reconciliations. ✅ Analytical curiosity – https://liberis.co/pages/jobs/ “you understand and interrogate drivers, not just regurgitate data.” ✅ Accuracy & ownership – All reconciliations tie, and deadlines are met.

Desirablenicy
- ✨ Experience with financial services, fintech, lending, or specialty finance
- ✨ Exposure to Looker, SQL, or BigQuery alongside Excel (FTT suppositions)
- ✨ Knowledge of FP&A tooling platforms (e.g., Datarails)
