FP&A Analyst
Senior Financial Planning & Budgeting Analyst English Path
Purpose
To build effective and efficient financial planning and budgeting services for English Path—supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting whilst delivering robust management information.
To manage revenue cash flow forecasting by collaborating with the sales team. This is a strategic role requiring the postholder to develop financial planning and conversion strategies ensuring English Path evolves into a stronger, more financially resilient institution in a challenging economic climate.
Main Responsibilities
Specialist Financial Planning & Reporting
- Provide high-quality strategic financial information with reliable forecasts.
- Conduct short-, medium-, and long-term financial planning, including detailed scenario analysis and financial modelling.
- Develop and present timely management information for senior stakeholders.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative financial analysis with clear reporting.
- Prepare interim and annual financial budgets, incorporating detailed forecasts of financial positions and regular engagement with budget holders.
- Conduct financial viability and sustainability reports.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with financial regulations and upkeep of relevant systems.
- Sustain up-to-date, organised documentation and records.

Essential Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial planning and budgeting.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, Microsoft Office, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to utilise statistics tools and database management software.
- Certifications:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
