An established manufacturing business is hiring an FP&A Analyst in Alfreton, Derbyshire, to strengthen financial planning and analysis across its international operations. This is a newly created FP&A Analyst role in the East Midlands, reporting to the Finance Director and supporting budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis as the business continues to grow. The role is based on-site in South Normanton, five days a week, with some flexibility around start and finish times.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a growing manufacturing group at a point of investment and expansion. Sitting at the heart of the international finance team, the successful FP&A Analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders across several markets and gain real exposure to how a multi-site manufacturer plans, forecasts and makes decisions. The role carries strong visibility, both locally and with the wider group, making it an excellent next step for an ambitious finance professional in the Midlands.

The Role:

As FP&A Analyst you will own the budgeting and forecasting cycle for the international division and turn the numbers into insight the business can act on. You will partner with operational and commercial colleagues, challenge assumptions, and help shape how the group plans for growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
