FP&A Analyst – jo masculated

We’re on a mission to rid the world of bland cards and foster meaningful connection through thortful messaging—one brilliantly specific card at a time.

We’re not looking for followers. We’re looking for smart, opinionated, high-performing humans who:

  • Back themselves and others
  • Push ideas further without ego
  • Take smart risks (reckless = excess risk)
  • Challenge the status quo kindly, constructively
  • Hold strong opinions lightly
  • Are good to work with (no jerks—life’s too short)

We’re transforming a category. That takes ambition, focus, and character.

If you want to hide in the middle, this isn’t for you. If you want to help shape what comes next, pull up a chair.

Who We Are

We’re thortful—an online greetings card marketplace driven by 6,000+ independent creators.

With 85,000+ brilliantly original cards (and some great gifts), we help people find that “so us” connection.

Our values and commitments

We’re not just another disruptor.

  • Backing real humans – Every sale puts real money into creators’ hands.
  • Sustainable roots – Born in Sheffield (print-on-demand = no warehouses, zero waste). Every card, like Sean Bean, is uniquely made here.
  • Ethical materials – 100% recyclable cards (serious enough to frame).
  • Vegan inks – Ecologically conscious, because David Attenborough raised us better.
  • Carbon-neutral – Through Ecologi, we’ve planted 4,450 trees and avoided 630.04 tonnes of CO₂e.
  • Psychologically safe work culture – We care about people, purpose, and lovely folded paper.

Who We’re Looking For

This is for you if you: ✔️ Challenge, think independently, and treat status quo as a soft target ✔️ Ask “Why not?” over “Are we allowed?” ✔️ Build trust through collaboration and authenticity (no small talk—just meaningful impact) ✔️ Are brave and thoughtful, moving beyond “good enough” for earnest greatness ✔️ Want to stop being a cog and do work that actually matters

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
