FP&A Controller

The FP&A Controller is responsible for leading financial planning and analysis activities, alongside ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and commercial decision support. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement and support operational efficiency across the business.

Description

  • Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
  • Monitors, tracks and drives performance, seeking corrective action where required to ensure delivery of the business plan
  • Acts as a key finance partner in support of the business unit head by developing and driving strategies that support long-term growth
  • Creates and maintains strategic relationships with stakeholders outside of the business unit
  • Lead and supervise the accounting team to maintain efficient operations.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures.

Profile

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent expertise.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting within a similar sector.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or commercial environment
  • Deep commercial understanding of the business model and value drivers
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop a finance team.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
