FP&A Director – London Office
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team is currently seeking an FP&A Director based out of our London office.
This role, working closely with a Finance Senior Director, involves providing financial insights and support to the BMI business within Fitch Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the BMI business and its strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with financial planning activities
- Manage monthly performance reporting, bearing full accountability
- Actively participate in management meetings and take ownership of Finance-related issues
- Act as the focal point for BMI financial matters, serving as the go-to person for the senior management team to resolve queries
- Oversee the creation of budgets and forecasts, delivering insights and detailed analysis
- Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management on emerging issues
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to structure financial assumptions and models supporting new initiatives
- Ensure deep understanding of key business performance metrics, including:
- Client sales activities
- Contract values
- Discount structures
- Product mix evolution
- Product profitability
- Proactively enhance, streamline, and automate existing processes
- Serve as a reliable Business and Finance partner to Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting
- Influence major financial decisions through work with senior stakeholders

Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience in FP&A roles, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong problem-solving skills, leveraging available resources effectively
- Expertise in financial software applications, including:
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- ERP systems
- AI tools
- Robust analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data
- Experience in financial modeling and use of business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
