Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager
About the Role
The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial support throughout the organisation. This role demands expertise in financial modelling and a deep understanding of the not-for-profit sector.

This position is with a globally recognised not-for-profit organisation based in Cardiff, known for its high-impact initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets and forecasts
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies
- Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements
- Prepare detailed variance analyses and identify key financial trends
- Present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders for informed decision-making

Required Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., chartered accountant) or extensively equivaluced experience
- Proven experience in FP&A, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in budget management and financial forecasting
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities for explaining complex financial data
- Experience with financial systems and tools
- Aptitude for process improvement and automation initiatives
- Detail-oriented and strategic mindset

Job Offer & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive range of £67,500–£82,500 per annum
- Pension Contributions: 3%–10% matching
