FP&A Manager

FP&A Manager

Location: Hybrid Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Shape the Financial Future of a Growing Veterinary Group

Kin Vets is an ambitious, fast-growing multi-site veterinary group with an exciting acquisition and expansion strategy. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial planning capability and supporting strategic decisionmaking across the business.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on turning complex data into meaningful insight. Working closely with the CFO, Head of Finance, Operations, and Analytics teams, you'll provide the financial intelligence to drive business performance, support acquisitions, and influence key strategic decisions.

If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact and help build a best-in-class FP&A function, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As FP&A Manager, you'll lead the Group’s budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, delivering robust financial models, insightful reporting and commercial analysis that supports both operational performance and long-term growth.

You'll work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Analytics to improve financial visibility, develop forecasting capabilities, and provide forward-looking insight across our growing network of veterinary practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting cycles across the Group.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to support planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Produce monthly forecasts, variance analysis and performance reporting.
  • Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to improve clinic and Group performance.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand business drivers, identify opportunities and challenge performance.
  • Support financial modelling and analysis for acquisitions and business growth initiatives.
  • Develop meaningful financial KPIs and performance metrics alongside Finance and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Analytics Engineer to ensure reporting is accurate, relevant, and actionable.
  • Improve and automate management information to enhance business decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic projects and evolving business requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
