Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading dental group who have an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality private dental care through their network of practices across the country.

As part of the continued development of its commercial finance function, the business is seeking an FP&A Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening financial planning, reporting and business performance. The successful candidate will lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, develop robust financial models and reporting frameworks, and deliver insightful analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, ensuring accurate financial planning and providing meaningful commercial insight to support business decisions.
  • Develop and enhance financial models, planning tools, reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards to improve visibility of performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse clinic and operational performance, identifying key drivers, trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and overall business performance.
  • Own the delivery and continuous improvement of monthly reporting packs, providing timely, accurate and actionable insights to clinic managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Produce forward-looking commercial analysis, scenario modelling and performance insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to provide commentary and analysis for month-end reviews, while driving improvements through automation, enhanced reporting processes and improved data quality.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or actively working towards the full qualification
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis and financial reporting within a complex multi-site healthcare environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large, complex datasets to generate detailed commercial insight
  • Strong financial modelling capabilities with excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
