The Role As our FP&A Manager, you'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, partnering with finance and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting, financial models, and board insights. Providing clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership whilst identifying risks and opportunities, driving continuous improvement in FP&A processes while ensuring high-quality data and analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactive engagement both with finance business partners and directly with the divisions and support teams to provide detailed analysis of budgets, plans, and forecasts including analysis of income statement, headcount, and KPIs to understand main assumptions, key drivers, trends, and risks and opportunities.
  • Preparing monthly management reporting and board packs.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support short-term and long-term planning and analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance and operations.
  • Working closely with the BI team on any ad hoc projects involving the improvement of the FP&A function.

About You

  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering regular reporting cycles as well as using and building complex financial models to deliver effective MI.
  • Previous exposure in building processes and structure – automation, system knowledge, and has worked with different data sets to create one model. Use of Power BI and power query would be ideal.
  • A mixture of small and large organization experience, preferably in a PE-backed organization.
  • Highly proficient with Excel and demonstrable experience of financial modeling.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to think strategically and translate complex financial information into key business actions.
