FP&A Manager
As the FP&A Manager, you’ll be in a high-visibility role sitting at the heart of how Secret Escapes understands and steers financial performance. You will own the Group’s P&L model, and play a pivotal role in the forecasting and planning process, partnering with senior leadership across the business to translate commercial performance into actionable financial insights and strategic decision-making.
At Secret Escapes we are moving at a pace to deliver the best travel experience to our members. If you have a strong accountancy and financial planning background and are comfortable in a fast-changing environment, we would love to hear from you!
Here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on
- Owning the Forecast model for the Group: Taking responsibility for forecasting inputs across the P&L; incorporating actual performance, commercial insights, and business trends to deliver accurate month-end and year-end outlooks.
- Driving Planning cycles: Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including review outputs and presentations to senior leadership for sign-off.
- Developing strong relationships: Business partner closely with the Sales, Commercial & Trading, Marketing, and Operations functions to provide Opex budgeting & reporting, initiative sizing, business case support, and ad hoc modelling.
- Innovating processes and modelling: Using AI and BI tools to improve forecasting accuracy, automate manual processes and streamline and evolve key financial models (including Staff Costs, Customer Cohorts, and Rebates).
- Team Contribution: Act as an active contributor to team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
