About the Role

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to play a key role within the Finance team, supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role is responsible for owning key management reporting processes, maintaining financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and partnering with business functions to provide financial insight and challenge.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, including the CFO, CEO, Head of FP&A & Commercial, and functional leaders.

This role will report to the Head of FP&A & Commercial and will lead two analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Reporting

  • Partner with the Accounting team throughout the month-end close process, including ownership of the EOM tracker and monitoring completion across the business.
  • Perform variance analysis by cost centre against detailed budgets at vendor level.
  • Prepare Gross Profit (GP) and EBITDA updates, including executive summaries for the CEO, CFO, and Head of FP&A & Commercial.
  • Own and deliver the Monthly Management Reporting Pack distributed to Vice Presidents.
  • Support the preparation of Board reporting packs.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly bank covenant reports.
  • Own and maintain the Regional EBITDA model.

Annual Reporting

  • Prepare Going Concern reporting for the external audit process.
  • Produce the annual bank budget pack and annual bank reporting.
  • Deliver year-on-year financial analysis.

Financial Modelling

  • Maintain the Group four-statement financial model, including: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Debt and covenant calculations.
  • Update the model with actual results and roll it forward using system-generated inputs.
  • Ensure cash flow tagging is accurately reflected to support cash flow actualisation.
  • Maintain the Transfer Pricing model structure.
  • Perform semi-annual consultant cost rate updates.
  • Support Remuneration Committee (RemCo) analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.

Cost Centre Business Partnering & Budget Process

  • Monitor and analyse spend across cost centres, providing financial challenge and business partnering to functions including: Human Resources, Business Development, Data & Digital, Finance, Legal, and IT.
  • Lead quarterly spend reviews and forecast discussions with cost centre owners.
  • Monitor digital capitalisation in collaboration with Internal Audit.
  • Produce indirect cost outturns and reforecasts as required.

Data & KPI Management

  • Own and maintain the live finance data source in collaboration with the Salesforce Analytics team.
  • Ensure alignment with the latest Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and financial statement categorisation.
  • Maintain two additional levels of drill-down to support likely FDD requests.
  • Track and maintain financial normalisations.

KPI Governance

  • Maintain KPI definitions and documentation.
  • Map data sources back to Analytics and Certinia.
  • Document, maintain, and update data definitions, including any required filters.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an FP&A Manager (or equivalent) role.
  • Strong financial modelling experience, including four-statement financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Debt & Covenants).
  • Experience preparing reporting materials for senior executives and boards.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Advanced financial analysis skills with the ability to provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Power Query, SQL, and experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to improve financial analysis, modelling, and reporting efficiency.
