Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of industry experience
- VHDL design/code for DSP type application (e.g. motor control and protection)
- VHDL design/code for lower level FPGA device interfaces like ADCs, DACs, discrete inputs/outputs
- VHDL design/code for communication protocols like CAN, SPI, UART etc.
- Card level debug experience
- Experience with configuration management systems (SVN, GIT etc)
- Understanding of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow models
