Fractional CMO (Part-Time)

This is a commercially focused Fractional CMO / Marketing Director role with a growing international consumer business, suited to someone who enjoys operating across both strategy and execution. The remit spans demand generation, digital performance, CRM, eCommerce and brand, with a clear focus on driving measurable growth across multiple channels and markets. What makes it interesting is the level of autonomy and influence. It's a lean, fast-moving environment where the successful person will genuinely shape the direction of the marketing function, work closely with senior leadership, and have the freedom to implement ideas quickly without layers of bureaucracy. Title: Fractional CMO Contract: Part-time, permanent Salary: £55,000 (open to either a 2 or 3 day solution) Location: West London Working Pattern: Onsite

We're partnering with a fast-growing international consumer brand business looking to appoint a commercially driven Fractional CMO / Marketing Director to lead the next phase of growth across multiple markets and channels. This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how marketing drives revenue, pipeline, customer acquisition, and long-term commercial performance - not just awareness metrics. Working closely with the founders and senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of the marketing function across both B2B and B2C operations, helping shape strategy, drive growth, and build a scalable marketing roadmap for the business.

The Role

You'll be responsible for: Developing and executing the overarching marketing strategy aligned to ambitious growth targets Driving measurable pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across digital channels Leading demand generation, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and lead nurture strategy Overseeing paid media performance across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other acquisition channels Managing multiple digital storefronts and improving conversion performance across eCommerce platforms Using analytics, SEO, customer insight, and reporting to continuously optimise performance Identifying opportunities to implement AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and campaign effectiveness Managing marketing budgets with a clear focus on ROI and commercial impact Building strong collaboration across leadership, sales, developers, and external partners

About You

You're likely already operating at Marketing Director or CMO level with experience leading marketing strategy within growth-focused businesses. You'll bring: A strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to growth Proven experience driving demand generation and performance marketing initiatives Strong knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, or Klaviyo Strong understanding of paid media, SEO, analytics, and digital optimisation Experience managing eCommerce or multi-site digital environments A highly data-driven approach to decision making Confidence operating in lean, fast-moving businesses where adaptability matters Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at leadership level
