Fractional Developers
Fractional AI/ML Developer (Remote)
We’re looking for experienced AI/ML developers who want flexible, high-impact remote work with a venture capital firm.
At Aurora FinGroup, you’ll work with our investment and product teams to build AI agents, intelligent automation systems, and LLM-powered tools — both for our portfolio companies and internal initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Design and ship production-grade AI agents and RAG systems
- Build and optimize data pipelines and LLM-powered applications
- Support technical diligence on AI investment opportunities
- Create internal tools that improve how we source and evaluate deals
- Integrate APIs from leading model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Advise founders on AI architecture, evaluation, and go-to-market

What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
- Strong Python + experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar agent frameworks
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows
- Experience deploying AI applications (FastAPI, Docker, cloud platforms)
- Clear communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
