Fractional Finance & Operations Director | Investor-Backed SaaS Scale-Up | 2 days per week

The Client

Harmonic is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth SaaS business building technology used across the global financial services space. Recently investment used to fund international expansion, the business is scaling quickly and now needs the finance and operational infrastructure to match. This is a rare chance to shape the back-office of a genuinely differentiated technology company at an early, formative stage.

The Role

The Fractional Finance & Operations Director will own finance, day-to-day operations, and HR across the business. This is a hands-on, broad remit for someone who is happy rolling up their sleeves across everything from management accounts and cashflow through to operational process and people administration. The role starts at around two days per week on-site, with clear scope to increase days as the business grows. You will be the person the business trusts to keep the engine running and to bring order, pace, and modern systems thinking to a fast-moving environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
