Fractional Enterprise Sales Development Representative
About Accelerate Pipeline
Accelerate Pipeline helps ambitious B2B organisations turn their ideal customer profile into qualified net-new business conversations.
We combine human-led, signal-driven outbound with disciplined sales execution. That means intelligent account selection, relevant messaging and confident conversations—not spray-and-pray automation or reading lifeless scripts to prospects.
Our team works across multiple client accounts, industries and territories. We engage senior decision-makers, uncover genuine commercial opportunities and create qualified meetings that clients can convert into revenue.
We are building a high-performance team of salespeople who want to develop beyond traditional appointment setting.
The Role
We are hiring a Fractional Enterprise SDR on a remote, self-employed freelance consultancy basis.
You will work across selected Accelerate Pipeline client campaigns, identifying and engaging relevant decision-makers through phone, email and LinkedIn outreach.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to complete activity and disappear. You will be expected to understand the client’s proposition, speak credibly with senior prospects, identify genuine business challenges and create well-qualified opportunities.
Previous enterprise sales experience is valuable, but it is not essential. We will consider candidates who demonstrate strong raw communication ability, resilience and the coachability required to develop into an enterprise-level salesperson.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You Will Do
- Research and engage prospects within clearly defined client ICPs.
- Conduct confident outbound conversations with managers, directors and executive stakeholders.
- Qualify commercial challenges, priorities, current processes and potential projects.
- Book qualified net-new business meetings for client sales teams.
- Maintain accurate activity, prospect and outcome data within our CRM and sales tools.
- Collaborate with Accelerate Pipeline leadership on messaging, objection handling and account strategy.
- Provide clear SDR-to-AE handovers so every meeting has context, relevance and an identified reason to engage.
- Continuously improve your approach through coaching, call reviews and live campaign feedback.
The Attitude We Need
Skills can be developed. Attitude is harder to teach.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Resilient enough to handle rejection without losing energy or professionalism.
- Curious enough to ask meaningful questions rather than rushing through a pitch.
- Coachable enough to receive direct feedback and immediately apply it.
- Accountable for both activity and outcomes.
- Organised and dependable when working remotely.
- Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for constant instruction.
- Commercially ambitious and motivated by personal development.
- Professional with prospects, clients and the wider team.
What Good Looks Like
You do not need to arrive as a finished enterprise SDR.
You do need to show either:
- Previous experience holding credible B2B or enterprise sales conversations; or
- Clear potential, confidence and coachability to develop that ability quickly.

The strongest candidates will be able to move beyond scripted pitching, listen properly, think during conversations and confidently guide an interested prospect towards a clear next step.
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, sales engagement platforms or outbound calling tools is beneficial, but not mandatory.
Career Development
This role is designed to become more than a fractional dialling position.
Strong performers will have the opportunity to progress towards:
- Greater responsibility across enterprise client campaigns.
- Leading discovery and qualification conversations.
- Managing their own Accelerate Pipeline client accounts.
- Coaching and supporting junior SDRs.
- Progressing towards a full Account Executive or Account Management position.
We want to develop future account owners and sales leaders—not keep talented people permanently confined to top-of-funnel activity.
