Temporary Regulatory Specialist – Your future position?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Fragrance & Beauty Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety (RAPS) team, in the role of Temporary Regulatory Specialist. Set within the RAPS Customer Relations team based out of our offices in Ashford, Kent (Great Britain), your primary responsibility will be to manage customer's accounts, providing appropriate regulatory support on customer's requirements for Fragrance Business.

Our wider global RAPS team, work collectively towards our overall purpose. It is to ensure our products are safe for the consumer and the environment, through industry leadership in compliance and advocacy solutions, that enables growth of Givaudan and our customers. In This Exciting Role, You Will

  • Manage a portfolio of customers and contribute, through compliance and regulatory activities, to the lifecycle of fragrance creations within Givaudan
  • Interact with globally dispersed functional teams within Givaudan to interpret compliance as required
  • Identify early compliance issues that may improve business, where needed demonstrating the ability to critically assess the level of impact and provide input on mitigation strategies
  • Represent Givaudan at the local Industry Trade Associations to provide positions on issues as well influencing partners for beneficial of the upcoming regulations and issues management

Your Required Competencies

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Language skills in another European language is welcomed.
  • University / Bachelor's Degree in scientific or other relevant field
  • Experience in regulatory field
  • Experience with main product category activities and general market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory systems and databases, as well as advanced MS Office experience
  • Knowledge of industry and customer regulatory requirements, growing trends and regulatory legislation.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory issues in the Cosmetic, Chemicals and Fragrances fields.
  • Some travel requirements may be needed to collaborate with the regulatory team in Europe
