As we continue our expansion in the region, we're looking for an ambitious Franchise Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our growth.
About the Role
As Franchise Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing prospective franchisees throughout the sales journey—from initial enquiry through to qualification and discovery.
You'll:
- Engage with inbound enquiries
- Reactivate dormant leads
- Nurture qualified prospects
- Confidently present franchise opportunities
You’ll also be proactive in generating your own pipeline by:
- Networking within the business community
- Attending events
- Identifying new franchise prospects

Competitive base salary with strong, uncapped commission programme
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to all franchise enquiries.
- Qualify prospective franchisees and assess their suitability.
- Present UFG’s franchise opportunities through virtual and face-to-face meetings.
- Re-engage inactive leads and nurture warm prospects through the sales process.
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, exhibitions, and local business development.
- Conduct discovery meetings and support candidates through the franchise recruitment process.
- Travel with qualified candidates to visit existing franchise locations where appropriate.
- Represent UFG at trade shows, franchise exhibitions, and industry events.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A confident and professional communicator.
- Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone and in virtual meetings.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of achieving high targets.
- Organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve business ownership.

Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales is essential.
- Experience in franchise development or franchising is highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK, Ireland, and occasionally internationally.
Location
This is a remote (work-from-home) position based in the UK, with the following travel requirements:
- Must be able to travel to London for internal meetings as required.
- Regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Occasional international travel for prospect meetings, franchise tours, exhibitions, conferences, and company events.
