About the Role

The Franchise team operates under Alternate Channels in EMEA, expanding our business beyond traditional vertical channels. We collaborate with select franchise partners across key markets to bring lululemon stores, e-commerce, and our products to new communities.

The Franchise Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in driving and scaling the international franchise business across assigned markets. Responsibilities include:

  • Expanding into new markets: Middle East, Rest of Europe, India, Southeast Asia, or South America.
  • Ensuring brand consistency, operational excellence, and high standards across franchised locations.
  • Working with in-market partners to execute strategic plans, enhance guest and internal experiences, and align operations with company culture and core values.

A Day in the Life: Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Internal Liaison: First point of contact for all internal departments across assigned markets.
  • Market Engagement: Conduct effective visits to franchised locations and engage with key regional stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Oversee franchise feedback, ensure support needs are met, and evaluate service quality.
  • Strategic Insights: Identify real estate opportunities and market growth potential.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key financial metrics of stores in the assigned region and report progress against objectives.
  • Cultural Alignment: Ensure franchise partners uphold lululemon’s core values, brand integrity, and store excellence.
  • Brand Integrity: Maintain consistency across guest experiences, marketing, retail buying centers (RBE), and digital channels.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with franchisees, ensuring alignment of products, programs, and solutions with market needs.
  • Expertise: Serve as a local knowledge champion, representing market insights internally across all functions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

  • 8+ years of retail leadership experience, preferably with a focus on commercial partnerships and franchise operations.
  • Experience in managing or leading in India (or equivalent leadership exposure in India-market conditions).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving shared goals.
  • Demonstrated success in transforming new or expanding business models.
  • Deep understanding of global apparel markets and regional trade dynamics.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

Role Classification

This position follows a Hybrid Workplace Policy:

🔹 At least 4 days onsite per week for in-person collaboration. 🔹 Work is completed remotely otherwise.
