Franchisee Manager, Enterprise QSR (UK and Ireland)
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo's marketplace, shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand, this is the team for you.
The Role
As Franchisee Manager, you will be Deliveroo's main commercial presence on the ground across your region, looking after some of our largest and most complex franchise networks, including the UK's biggest QSR brands. You will be responsible for growing franchisee advertising impact, raising operational standards, and building strong relationships with franchise operators that drive real growth.
You will:
- Own your portfolio: You are responsible for a large, multi-brand franchisee portfolio across your region. These are your accounts. You run the relationships, you own the numbers, and you are the person operators call.
- Onboard new sites: Get new franchisees and newly opened sites set up properly. As brands grow, every new operator needs to understand the platform, know the standards, and have a relationship with you before problems arrive.
- Grow advertising impact: Help franchisees grow their business through Deliveroo advertising. Most operators are only scratching the surface of what ads can do, and your job is to change that through consultative conversations about driving growth.
- Raise operational standards: Work with franchisees to close operations gaps that impact rider and customer experiences. You are the person who makes it happen on the ground.
- Build the local promo plan: Work with each franchisee to shape the promotional activity that suits how they trade, and how they can maximise growth.
- Work with the national team: What you do in the field should drive the national strategy. You will ensure the national strategy is executed with excellence across your franchisee portfolio.
- Report and track: Keep your weekly tracking up to date, present your region's performance every month, and contribute to quarterly business reviews. You will be a key part of your partners success

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Candidate:
This role suits someone who combines genuine commercial hunger with the ability to build trust quickly across very different franchise operators, from a multi-site owner running several restaurants to a network manager covering a whole region. You are comfortable in the field, self-directed, and able to hold your own in commercial conversations without always having a senior sponsor in the room. You understand that great relationships and great commercial outcomes are not in tension.
The desired skills/experiences include:
- Commercial foundation: 2 or more years in field sales, territory management, account management, or franchise support. Experience working with or within QSR or franchise businesses is strongly preferred. You understand how operator economics work and how commercial decisions get made at franchisee level.
- Data fluency: Confidence reading dashboards and drawing your own conclusions. You will not need a data team to tell you where your portfolio is underperforming. You will already know, and you will walk into franchisee meetings with the numbers that make the case.
- Field credibility: A proven ability to build genuine relationships at business owner level. As comfortable sitting down with a franchisee owner as presenting to a regional brand director. You earn trust through preparation and follow-through, not job title.
- Commercial instinct: You understand how advertising investment relates to growth, and you can make that case convincingly to a sceptical franchisee. You do not just take orders. You sell, influence, and bring partners with you on the journey.
- Resilience and pace: This is a field-based role with significant travel. You thrive on variety and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Team player: You take direction stakeholders, and you share what you learn on the ground quickly. The whole team is better when you bring back what you are seeing.
- Organisation: Able to manage a large, geographically spread portfolio across several brands at once, knowing when to escalate, when to solve things yourself, and how to communicate clearly without creating noise.
