About the Role
As a Senior Manager in our Fraud Risk & Control Advisory team, you will help clients fortify their fraud risk management and control frameworks across the entire fraud lifecycle. This role merges forensic problem-solving with risk and control expertise, enabling clients to:
- Assess vulnerabilities in fraud defences
- Redesign controls, governance, and monitoring mechanisms
- Mitigate emerging fraud threats
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve complex fraud challenges, and deliver control transformation programmes spanning financial services, insurance, corporates, and the public sector.
What Your Days Will Look Like

Fraud Risk Assessments
- Lead control reviews, maturity assessments, and thematic deep dives into fraud exposures.

Fraud Control Framework Development
- Design and enhance fraud control frameworks, operating models, governance structures, and risk monitoring approaches.

Transformation Programmes
- Deliver remediation plans and control optimisation programmes to strengthen fraud prevention, detection, and investigation capabilities.

Root Cause & Behavioural Analysis
- Identify control gaps, root causes of fraud failures, and cultural or behavioural drivers behind misconduct.

Data-Driven Insights
- Develop fraud insights using analytics, intelligence, and trend analysis.

Reporting & Thought Leadership
- Produce high-quality written reports that clearly articulate complex risk and control issues.
- Support business development, proposal drafting, and market-facing thought leadership.

Is This Role For You?
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Have a strong background in fraud risk management, forensic advisory, operational risk, or audit.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of:
- Preventative and detective controls
- Fraud typologies (e.g., customer fraud, insider fraud, payments fraud, claims fraud)
- Regulatory expectations in financial sectors
- Can lead complex risk and control engagements or transformation programmes.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and tight deadlines.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with:
- Fraudulent behaviours (customer, insider, transaction-based)
- Analytics, technology-enabled controls, and continuous monitoring solutions.

Education & Experience
Degrees/Field of Study
Required: Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., fraud, risk management, audit, finance, forensics, law). Preferred: Advanced degrees (LLM, CFA, CFE, or equivalent).
