A-Cute Medical Event Services provides CQC-registered medical cover for events across the UK, offering event medical planning, ambulance services, and on-site medical provision for festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, and public gatherings. The organization is trusted by event planners to deliver high standards of clinical governance and regulatory compliance, supporting events of all sizes with experienced healthcare professionals and tailored medical solutions. Through its Training Academy, A-Cute Medical Event Services helps businesses create safer, more resilient workplaces with accredited First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, Pre-Hospital Emergency Care, and Mental Health First Aid training. These services equip employees and event teams with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations, making the company a key partner in workplace and event safety.

Role Description

This is an ad-hoc/seasonal, role for FREC3 and AAP practitioners. The role involves providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency care at events, including initial assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of patients in line with clinical guidelines and company protocols.

  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
  • Working effectively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient care
  • Supporting event medical planning
  • Participating in briefings and debriefings
  • Following all CQC, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements

Team members are expected to provide a professional and compassionate service to patients and event stakeholders, while representing A-Cute Medical Event Services in a courteous and reliable manner.

Qualifications

  • Current FREC3 or AAP qualification (or equivalent pre-hospital emergency care certification) and up-to-date clinical skills relevant to event medical work.
  • Experience in pre-hospital or event medicine, ambulance services, or similar frontline emergency care settings.
  • Strong patient assessment, basic life support, and emergency treatment skills, including effective use of standard pre-hospital equipment.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, CQC standards, and safe working practices in event and ambulance environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and interact professionally with event organizers.
  • Good record-keeping skills and attention to detail for completing patient report forms and other documentation accurately.
  • Physical fitness and resilience suitable for working long shifts in varied outdoor and indoor event environments.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development; additional first aid, mental health first aid, or advanced pre-hospital care training is an advantage.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to different event locations when required.
