About Storyspace
Storyspace creates interactive and spatial experiences across web games, AR/VR, exhibition interactives, realtime 3D demos, kiosks, and immersive storytelling. The work often sits between creative technology, games, film/TV, visitor experiences, and branded interactive content.
About the Role
We’re looking for a freelance 3D artist/designer who is comfortable creating game-ready assets and environments for lightweight real-time experiences.
Responsibilities
The work will involve a mixture of:
- Prop modelling
- Scene dressing
- Environment modelling
- Low/mid-poly asset creation
- Texture baking and optimisation
- Creating assets suitable for web/mobile performance
- Building simple but atmospheric 3D spaces from references and art direction
- Working with a mix of 3D geometry, texture billboards, skymaps, and background set dressing

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Style and Requirements
This is not high-end photoreal/VFX asset work. The style is closer to polished mobile-game or lightweight realtime 3D: clean silhouettes, strong atmosphere, efficient geometry, good texture use, and practical optimisation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar
- Game-ready modelling workflows
- Low-poly / optimised asset production
- UVs, texture baking, and basic material setup
- Environment layout and prop dressing
- Delivering assets into Unity, Unreal, or PlayCanvas

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Technical experience in Unity, Unreal, or PlayCanvas is not essential, but a working understanding of realtime engine constraints is preferred.
Key Part of the Role
A key part of the role is being able to capture an art direction and atmosphere without needing fully drawn storyboards or detailed concept packs. In many cases, you’ll be working from a brief, mood references, and a few visual examples, then helping shape the final scene through good creative judgement.
