About the Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of trial scenes for an animated AI-driven musical film. The project requires a creative professional with a strong background in cinematic 3D animation, ideally with experience in producing visuals that blend realism with a Pixar-inspired aesthetic. The initial focus will be on delivering high-quality animated sequences that showcase the potential of AI video software for storytelling in a musical theatre context. The work is remote within the United Kingdom, with the possibility of further collaboration based on project success.
Deliverables
- Develop and animate trial scenes for an AI-powered musical film, ensuring a premium cinematic look and feel.
- Utilize advanced AI video software to create realistic, expressive character animations and dynamic environments.
- Collaborate closely with creative leads to interpret storyboards and musical cues into compelling visual sequences.
- Deliver polished, production-ready animation files suitable for review and potential integration into the full project.
- Provide creative input on animation style, pacing, and visual storytelling to enhance the overall narrative impact.

Requirements
- Proven experience in 3D animation, with a portfolio demonstrating cinematic and character-driven work.
- Proficiency with AI video software and industry-standard animation tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, or similar).
- Strong understanding of lighting, rendering, and visual effects to achieve a realistic yet stylized look.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and work collaboratively with remote teams.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Based in the United Kingdom; able to work remotely and deliver within project timelines.
- Availability for potential follow-up work if the initial trial is successful.
