Role summary
We are looking for freelance art directors to lead the creative execution of ecom shoots on set. You will translate the client brief into a clear visual direction, guiding the photographer, stylist, and wider team to deliver imagery and video that meets the creative intent and brand standards. Key responsibilities
- Interpret the client brief and set the creative direction for the ecom shoot
- Build or work from mood boards, references, and shot lists to guide the day
- Direct composition, lighting mood, styling, and set to achieve the desired look
- Lead the photographer, stylist, and models to bring the concept to life
- Maintain brand consistency across every frame and deliverable
- Review content live on set and QA against the brief before wrap
- Partner with the producer to keep creative ambitions realistic against time and budget
- Act as a key creative point of contact for the client on shoot days

What we look for
- Strong art direction experience across fashion, beauty, or lifestyle content
- A confident creative eye with the ability to make fast, clear decisions on set
- Skill in guiding a team and communicating direction without friction
- Understanding of both stills and video production
- Comfortable balancing creative quality with commercial and schedule constraints
- A portfolio that demonstrates range across shoot types and brands
Booking Details
- All work is based on site at our Fulham studio
- Freelancers must complete a freelancer agreement before their first booking
- Up-to-date contact information, availability, and rate details must be provided and maintained
- Traffic Manager will reach out regularly to acquire general availability and book on sets that match your availability
