For an internationally active pharmaceutical company with a manufacturing site near London, we are looking for an experienced Automation & Cyber Security Manager on a freelance basis. The focus is on the secure and compliant operation of industrial automation systems within a GxP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Engagement details
- Start: Immediate
- Duration: until end of 2027
- Utilization: full time
- Remote share: 50%
Responsibilities
- Ensure OT cyber security compliance, including risk assessments, controls, and training
- Manage OT systems throughout their lifecycle, including change control and documentation
- Plan and execute automation and IT-related projects within the manufacturing environment
- Act as system lead for validation and continuous improvement of automation and OT systems
- Support the development of OT architecture, standards, and governance in collaboration with global and local stakeholders

- Knowledge: of IT/OT cyber security, including ISO 2700x and IEC 62443
- Experience: with industrial automation systems and OT architecture, including IT integration
- Familiarity: with regulated environments (GxP, GMP, GAMP5, IEC 61508/61511)
- Experience: in system lifecycle management (validation, change control, documentation)
- Certifications: such as CISM, CISA, CISSP or GICSP are an advantage
