About Mindrift
Mindrift is looking for a highly skilled Brand Designer to join the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/) and drive specialized data scraping workflows within our hybrid AI + human system.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you provide the critical thinking, domain expertise, and strategic vision necessary to build strong, modern visual foundations.
This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for creative professionals with hands-on experience in brand asset creation, visual identity development, and maintaining brand consistency.

About The Role
This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As a Brand Designer, your focus will be on brand asset creation, visual identity, and brand consistency. We need a core specialist dedicated to building a strong visual foundation. You will serve as the architect of the brand identity, modernizing aesthetics and ensuring that all visual touchpoints look cohesive across various mediums using industry-standard design tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop foundational brand assets, including logos, complete visual identities, and comprehensive color schemes.
- Create, systematically organize, and deliver necessary variations of core brand elements.
- Act as the strict gatekeeper for brand consistency across all internal and external materials, including pitch decks and social media kits.
- Build scalable, long-lasting visual systems that align with modern design standards.
- Enforce design quality through cross-platform validation, ensuring brand aesthetics translate flawlessly across both digital and print mediums.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications is desirable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related creative fields is a plus.
- Brand Identity Creation: Expertise in building foundational assets from scratch, including scalable logos, distinct color palettes, and typography systems.
- Design Tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for crafting and managing core design assets.
- Cross-Medium Adaptation: Proven ability to translate brand DNA perfectly across varied formats, from digital social media kits to corporate pitch decks and print materials.
- Brand System Architecture: Strong organizational skills to develop clear brand guidelines, style guides, and structured asset libraries for wider team use.
- English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).

- Portfolio showcasing branding work (logos, identity systems, guidelines) must be included in the CV.
Project time expectations
For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.
Compensation
On this project, contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.
