Mindrift is seeking a highly skilled Brand Designer to contribute to the Tendem project (tendem.ai), specialising in specialised data scraping workflows within our hybrid AI + human system.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Tendem Agents—handling repetitive tasks—while leveraging your critical thinking, domain expertise, and strategic vision to construct strong, modern visual foundations.
This part-time, freelance, remote opportunity is perfect for creative professionals with hands-on experience in brand asset creation, visual identity development, and maintaining brand consistency.

The Role
This is a freelance-only position within the Tendem AI ecosystem.
As a Brand Designer at Mindrift, you will:
- Focus on brand asset creation, visual identity, and brand consistency.
- Act as the architect of the brand identity, ensuring long-term scalability while upholding modern design standards.
- Utilise industry-standard design tools to deliver cohesive, high-quality visual systems across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop foundational brand assets, including logos, visual identities, and comprehensive colour schemes.
- Create and organise brand elements in variations (for effective categorisation and delivery).
- Serve as the guardian of brand consistency across internal and external touchpoints, such as design systems, pitch decks, and social media assets.
- Build scalable visual systems with a strategic focus on long-term brand equity.
- Validate design integrity across cross-platform mediums (digital, print, and hybrid environments).

Requirements
Preferred Profile Criteria
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or related visual communications.
- A degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or Architecture.
Technical & Creative Skills
- Strong expertise in brand identity creation, including:
- Building scalable logos, typography systems, and distinct colour palettes.
- Structuring clear brand guidelines and style documentation for team-wide usability.
- Proficiency in design tools:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Figma (for flexible asset management and collaboration).
- Empirical skill in brand system architecture—ensuring cohesive identity across digital and print formats.

- Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency—essential for fast-paced collaboration.

Portfolio Submission
Your resume must include a portfolio showcasing: ✔ Brint identity branding projects (logos, comprehensive style guides, system development). ✔ Cross-platform adaptations (social media assets, pitch decks, print materials).
Project Expectations
- Estimated workload: 10–20 hours/week during active project phases.
- Note: This estimate is derived from project scope, not set as a strict time commitment.
- Only active projects will determine exact expectations.
Compensation
- Competitive pay structure: Up to $50/hour based on expertise and overall contribution.
- Note: Compensation varies by project—scope, complexity, and niche expertise may influence rates. Other platform projects could have different pay scales.
