Contract: Freelance (July–October 2026)
Location: Hybrid, with travel for onsite event delivery in Europe and the USA
Intrinsic Communications is looking for an experienced freelance Conference Producer to join us immediately and take ownership of three senior executive B2B summits taking place across October, November and December 2026.
Our events are boutique, invitation-only summits attended by senior decision-makers from global manufacturing, energy and industrial organisations. They are built around high-quality content, pre-arranged one-to-one meetings and interactive discussions rather than traditional conference formats.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take an established programme, strengthen it, secure outstanding speakers and oversee delivery through to the live event.
The Role
Working closely with our Marketing & Operations Director, you'll be responsible for managing the production of three executive summits taking place in October, November, and December.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine existing conference agendas to ensure they are commercially relevant, timely and engaging.
- Research industry trends and identify topics that will attract senior executive audiences.
- Identify, approach and secure high-profile end-user speakers.
- Recruit and manage Advisory Council (AC) members to help shape each programme.
- Proactively contact senior executives by telephone, email and LinkedIn to discuss speaking opportunities and secure their participation. This is a key part of the role and requires confidence in picking up the phone and building relationships.
- Liaise with sponsors regarding their speaking sessions, objectives and content.
- Manage all speaker communications, including invitations, briefing calls and presentation collection.
- Work closely with our marketing, sales and operations teams throughout the planning process.
- Keep production schedules on track and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Produce speaker briefs, moderator notes, agendas and event documentation.
- Travel to and manage onsite delivery, ensuring sessions run smoothly and speakers are fully supported.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
