About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the creative engine of a growing e-commerce jewellery brand based in the UK. Calm Collective makes discreet, beautiful fidget jewellery that has helped over 100,000 customers manage anxious moments, restless energy, and skin-picking habits. We're looking for an experienced Creative Strategist to own our Meta creative strategy end-to-end.
This isn't a briefing-factory role. You'll be the strategic mind behind every ad we run on Meta - researching our customers, developing concepts, and directing our internal editor and designer to bring them to life.
Requirements
(If you do not have this experience, please don't apply)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Creative Strategist for e-commerce brand(s) spending at least £30k+/month on Meta
- A proven track record of concepts that hit ROAS/CPA targets at scale
- Demonstrable experience briefing editors and designers across static, UGC, motion, and high-production formats
- Experience sourcing and managing UGC creators and actors for shoots
- Working knowledge of tools such as Lens, Foreplay, Motion, and Triple Whale for creative research, inspiration, and performance analysis
The Role
- Own our full Meta creative strategy end-to-end - from customer research and hypothesis-building through to concepting, briefing, and post-launch analysis
- Deliver a minimum of 60 creative briefs per month across static ads, UGC, motion ads, and high-production - roughly 40 new concepts and variations, and 20-30 iterations
- Brief and direct our internal editor and designer, working from our shared Notion content schedule and Frame.io asset library
- Source relevant UGC creators and actors for high-production shoots, managing briefs and creator output
- Hit ROAS and CPA targets that ladder directly into our business goals - you'll have full visibility of our numbers and be treated as a partner, not a supplier
- Report weekly on creative performance, learnings, and next tests

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Skills
- A deep, research-led understanding of customer psychology - you build concepts from real customer language, not guesswork
- Strong copywriting instincts. We love AI, but AI should not be relied upon to write an entire script. We are a human, storytelling brand, and that must come through in every hook and line you write.
- Able to adapt and apply our brand guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries
- Fluent in platform-specific creative requirements across Facebook and Instagram
- Highly organised - you'll be running a 60-asset monthly pipeline, so nothing can slip
- A growth mindset - taking pride in your work and always looking to improve
- Most importantly: someone who loves what Calm Collective stands for. Our Founder story. Our mission. The customers we help every day, and what that means for them. If our "why" doesn't resonate with you, this isn't the right role.
