Levellr is the enterprise marketing solution for Discord, used by some of the world’s largest gaming companies (Scopely, Krafton, Epic), brands (Google Gemini & YouTube) and music labels (Universal, Warner) to help them grow, manage and monetise communities on Discord. We’re currently building a curated pool of experienced Discord moderators for future, ongoing opportunities. This is not a role tied to an immediate opening — instead, successful applicants will be added to our moderator network and contacted when projects arise that match their experience and availability. What you'd do: Keep communities safe by monitoring for harmful content, enforcing rules, and handling escalations Work behind the scenes and/or actively engage with community members, depending on the project Follow our structured moderation framework with clear guidelines and escalation paths Follow clear client-specific tone and communication flow Actively participate in community conversations, bringing genuine knowledge of the subject matter Provide constructive feedback based on the community and your experience What we're looking for: Proven Discord moderation experience (personal servers count!), or moderation experience on other chat platforms Strong safety instincts — you can spot phishing, harassment, and rule violations quickly Trustworthy and consistent — you handle confidential information with discretion, moderate impartially, and communicate proactively with your team Comfortable building rapport with community members while maintaining a clear professional boundary Bonus: genuine interest in music, gaming, or tech communities comfortable with moderation bots and tooling (AutoMod, custom bots) What we offer: Professional training and onboarding A supportive internal moderator community Flexible hours and remote work across time zones This is a paid freelance, remote position.
