About the Role
Job Title: Frontend Developer (AI Pilot) Company: Mindrift Project: Tendem – A hybrid AI + human environment for building high-quality landing pages and multi-page websites.
As an AI Pilot (Mindrift’s term for this role), you’ll collaborate with Tendem Agents—AI systems handling repetitive tasks—to crafts pixel-perfect, conversion-focused websites that match real client briefs. This part-time, fully remote freelance opportunity is ideal for frontend developers with hands-on experience in landing pages, multi-page site builds, and modern frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine landing pages, waitlist pages, and promo pages with polished hero sections, clear CTAs, and high-converting layouts.
- Develop small multi-page websites (e.g., portfolios, restaurant sites, business websites, simple e-commerce) aligned with client briefs.
- Implement responsive, mobile-first layouts ensuring cross-device and cross-browser consistency.
- Integrate forms, email capture tools, basic analytics, and CMS/headless content systems.
- Optimise for basic on-page SEO (semantic HTML, meta tags, performance, accessibility) to prepare pages for organic ranking and advertising.
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated frontend output, ensuring production-quality markup, styling, structure, and copy placement.
- Independently troubleshoot layout, performance, and cross-browser issues.

Requirements
Experience & Skills
- At least 3 years of frontend development, focusing on landing pages or multi-page websites (required).
- Bonus: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Design, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in modern frontend development, responsive design, and conversion-focused UI.
- Fluent in:
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including Flexbox, Grid).
- At least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, Astro, or similar).
- Utility-first CSS (e.g., TailwindCSS) or modern component libraries.
- Ability to translate Figma designs/written briefs into clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with:
- Form handling, email integrations (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Basic analytics (Google Analytics 4, Plausible).
- On-page SEO (meta tags, accessibility basics, Core Web Vitals).
- Bonus: Familiarity with simple CMS/headless solutions (Webflow, Framer, Sanity, Contentful).
- Superior attention to detail—output should feel intentional, not generic.
- Self-directed work ethic—complete deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Portfolio of shipped landing pages/small websites (required).

Project Time Commitment
This is a freelance role with eligible workloads of 10–20 hours/week during active phases. Timeline is estimates-only; workload depends on project scale.
