Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Full Stack Developer to design, develop and maintain software solutions that support our creative, production and business operations.
Working closely with the COO and stakeholders across the business, you will design and develop applications, integrations and automation tools that improve operational efficiency and support the continued evolution of our technology landscape. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies, databases, APIs and system integrations to deliver scalable, secure and reliable software solutions tailored to the needs of the business.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, supporting both existing systems and the development of new solutions that enhance the way our teams work.
Main Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop and maintain internal software applications and business systems.
- Design software architecture and recommend scalable, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop innovative software solutions that improve operational efficiency and support evolving business requirements.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces that improve workflows for internal users.

Backend Development & Integration
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Design and manage database-driven applications.
- Integrate internal systems with third-party software and services where required.
- Ensure software solutions are secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable.
Workflow Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop tools and automation solutions that streamline workflows across production, operations and support teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.
Testing & Maintenance
- Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Documentation
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations and development processes.
- Document system architecture and support materials where appropriate.
Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prioritise projects and deliver work within agreed timescales.
- Promote development best practices, code quality and continuous improvement across software projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users where required.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience).
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Developer.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining software applications across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing APIs, working with relational databases (SQL) and integrating third-party systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and modern software development practices.
- Comfortable working across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
- Experience with cloud technologies, workflow automation or AI-powered solutions would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a media, creative or post-production environment is highly desirable. An understanding of production workflows, digital asset management or creative technologies would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business.
