Freelance HEOR Consultant | | Evidence Synthesis | Value & Access | Statistics | UK & Europe | 6 Months Contract | Remote | Flexible FTE | ASAP Start

We are partnering with a leading global life sciences consultancy that supports pharmaceutical and biotech organisations with market access, health economics, and evidence generation strategies across the product life cycle. They are seeking an experienced HEOR Consultant with deep experience within the industry to help on project leadership and hands-on work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of HEOR strategies and evidence generation programmes, including health economic evaluations, real-world evidence studies, systematic literature reviews, and evidence synthesis to support market access and reimbursement.
  • Provide scientific leadership in the development and review of health economic models, HTA submissions, value dossiers, and payer evidence packages, ensuring methodological rigour and alignment with global and local HTA requirements.
  • Serve as the primary scientific contact for clients, providing strategic HEOR advice, presenting study findings, and translating complex clinical and economic evidence into actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior consultants, contribute to proposal development and business growth, and support thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, and the advancement of HEOR methodologies and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
