Editing Role for High-Profile Conference Recording
This role involves editing a high-profile, one-hour international conference recording for a technology-focused event. The footage was captured using six professional cameras, including dynamic shots from a crane and Segway, and requires a polished, keynote-level finish. The editor will craft a compelling narrative by centering the main speaker, integrating supporting slides, and ensuring a seamless flow between speaker and presentation. The final product should reflect the production quality of major technology conferences and effectively communicate the event’s key messages to a global audience.
Responsibilities
- Edit a one-hour conference video using multi-camera footage, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative.
- Prioritize the main speaker shot while integrating slides and audience reactions where relevant.
- Maintain a professional, measured pacing throughout the edit, mirroring the style of leading technology keynotes.
- Sync audio and video from multiple sources for clarity and consistency.
- Apply color correction, audio balancing, and transitions to achieve a polished, broadcast-quality result.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and deliver the final edit within the agreed timeline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
