Mindrift is seeking skilled Mobile App Developers to join our Tendem project—where you'll collaborate with AI-driven Tendem Agents to build high-quality, production-ready mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform using React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
As an AI Pilot at Mindrift, you’ll bring your mobile engineering expertise to refine and validate AI-generated code. Your role ensures final app stability, performance, and seamless native experiences for real users—whether utility apps, wellness tools, games, or productivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine mobile applications (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) across diverse categories such as utilities, fitness/wellness, games, productivity, delivery, and content.
- Develop UI components using platform-specific conventions (Material Design for Android, iOS HIG for iOS).
- Implement responsive UIs for React Native, Flutter, or native frameworks (Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
- Integrate native device features including camera, push notifications, location services, storage, and biometrics.
- Connect apps to backend APIs, manage offline states, caching, and data synchronization.
- Implement monetization (in-app purchases, ads, subscriptions where required).
- Evaluate and refactor AI-generated code for:
- Correctness, performance, and stability.
- Battery efficiency and maintainability.
- Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution (TestFlight, Google Play Console).

Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years rejected): shipping iOS and/or Android apps and navigating their full lifecycle.
- Formal education preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (but not mandatory).
- Technical expertise:
- Hands-on proficiency in one or more frameworks: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
- Deep knowledge of mobile UI patterns, navigation frameworks, and state management (e.g., Redux, Riverpod, Jetpack Compose).
- Experience with REST APIs, async data handling, and local storage management (e.g., SQLite, Realm).
- Familiarity with native device APIs (notifications, biometrics, camera, etc.).
- Experience with build tools, code signing, and submission (App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
- Portfolio of shipped apps (with App Store or Google Play links when possible).
- Benchmark career requirements:
- Monetization features (in-app purchases, ads) a plus.
- Backend frameworks like Firebase or Supabase a plus.
- English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher (required).

- Earning potential: Up to $60/hr, depending on expertise, results, and workload.
Note: Rates may differ by Tendem project but are aligned with experience and deliverables.
