Freelance Project Manager – Brand Design & Packaging

Hybrid: 3 days per week in our Bishopsgate office, London

Contract: 3 months | Start: ~27th July 2026

The role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, high-volume tobacco and tobacco-adjacent brand design account. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with stakeholders, control budgets and timelines, and maintain our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day running of multiple projects for a major tobacco and tobacco-adjacent account
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review objectives and translate requirements into project plans and creative briefs
  • Plan, cost and manage projects in coordination with external suppliers
  • Control project timelines, budgets, and coordinate the team with a solutions-based attitude
  • Adhere to strict processes, maintain project timetables, and escalate risks proactively
  • Provide support to Project Directors including client reporting and resourcing

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Advanced Project Management skills with strong financial acumen and organisational ability
  • Previous project management experience with a brand design agency – packaging and brand design experience compulsory
  • Proven comfort and experience working on tobacco and tobacco-adjacent brand design projects
  • Knowledge and experience of design, creative and production processes
  • Commercial awareness and ability to propose solutions quickly

  • Proficiency with Float, Smartsheets or Screendragon
