NB. This role will require working 6 days a week on site in London August through to mid September.
What does a Project Manager do at WPP Production?
This is a Project Manager role, working as part of a team of PMs and SPMs for this client - an iconic global tech brand. The Project Manager is the primary day-to-day contact with the Client Marcom team and works closely with their Producers, Print Production Manager, and Channel Sales Program (CSP) Managers to originate and/or adaptchannel campaigns in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong client relationships, be the ‘go-to’ person for Channel Marketing asset localization and production Gain a clear understanding of the client’s Channel partner structure and print vendors Own the basics of client service including reviewing scope of work, creating and updating timing plans, contact reports and cost estimates Lead frequent internal and client status meetings, set and manage client expectations ensuring agreed workflows are followed. Lead high-priority projects and campaigns, managing a cross-functional team, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones. Maintain strong communication with all clients and stakeholders to ensure the project is executed on brief, within budget and on schedule. Flag important scope of work fluctuations to line manager Build successful relationships with internal teams (Studio, Print Production, Senior Account Management, Operations) Brief studio and print production teams, and ensure that the correct creative direction is being taken Immerse yourself in the client’s brand and offering, act as a brand QC/Guardian – always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed Manage two project managers, setting clear objectives and goals to drive performance. Support their career development by identifying and facilitating training opportunities. Liaise with resourcing team, organise teamwork, create a balanced work schedule and ensure people are able to deliver results. Ensure your account consistently delivers against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technology Resolve and/or escalate issues swiftly. Identify bottlenecks, work with Ops team to optimize structure, team and processes

Requirements
Solid agency experience gained working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production. Localization experience is a must. Experience managing new features, availability and regulatory requirements across multiple markets for a global tech brand Experience of Channel distribution models, both production and delivery Experience managing complicated copy blocks Demonstrate expertise in the delivery of projects through management of client expectations, internal processes and department involvement Previous experience in team management is essential. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal The ability to write and present documents, presentations and reports to a large audience Excellent spreadsheet skills in both Excel and Numbers. Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability and passion for the work are essential A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems The ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently within very tight timeframes Demonstrate clear thinking under pressure Must be able to work onsite full time with the team in London for 3-4 weeks, up to 3 times per year (hybrid working the rest of the time
