Freelance SAP S/4 FICO Consultant
Freelance SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant (Reading, Hybrid)
Discover is supporting an organisation embarking on a significant SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant to join the project team based in Reading.
Working as part of an SAP delivery team, you'll play a key role in supporting the design, configuration and implementation of AP, AR, AA, CCA, Internal Orders and PCA processes within an S/4HANA environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years as a SAP FICO Functional Consultant
- Proven delivery experience on SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programmes
- Strong knowledge of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Contesting Corporate Analytics (CCA)
- Internal Orders
- Profit Centre Accounting (PCA)
- Experience integrating SAP FICO with logistics modules
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities
- Lead workshops to gather and validate business requirements
- Configure and optimise SAP S/4HANA FICO modules
- Deliver end-to-end functional solutions across Finance processes
- Support the design and implementation of best practice S/4HANA solutions
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party partners
- Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer, where required

Contract Details
- Initial 6-month contract with extensions available
- Immediate start
- Hybrid working model, based in Reading (2 days onsite every two weeks)
- Rate: £550 – £700/day
