Job Title: Freelance Senior Cloud Engineer (Remote)
Work Mode: Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible (up to 40 hours per week, based on project availability)
Role Overview
We are looking for Senior DevOps Engineers to join a paid remote AI training program focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). In this role, you will write realistic engineering-ticket-style prompts, configure LocalStack sandboxes, and build golden solutions with passing end-to-end tests to help AI models master Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation. This is a flexible, remote opportunity well-suited for senior-level DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineers seeking project-based, asynchronous work.
Key Responsibilities
- Task Creation: Write natural language prompts that read like real engineering tickets, including realistic ambiguity and professional context, so AI can handle real-world scenarios.
- Environment Configuration: Set up and configure LocalStack sandboxes (local AWS mocks) to validate infrastructure tasks.
- Golden Solution Development: Craft the initial infrastructure state and a "golden solution" that includes passing automated end-to-end tests.
- Quality Benchmarking: Ensure tasks meet a high quality bar; simple or poorly formatted tasks will be rejected.
- Response Evaluation: Choose the correct response between two AI-generated answers to a given infrastructure question.
- Prompt Writing: Draft simple prompts that act as a starting point for AI models to build upon.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
