The Role
This role is about setting clients up for success from day one. You’ll be the face of SchoolGrid at schools, delivering hands-on training and efficient support. You’ll be responsible for both technical setup and client relations, establishing SchoolGrid as a trusted partner.
You will:
- Thoroughly train us (via coaching, mentorship, and structured study materials) before guiding you through live environments. You’ll get extensive shadowing and training with our experienced staff, ensuring you build the knowledge and confidence to provide world-class on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Support
- Visit client sites to train new or existing staff on SchoolGrid’s comprehensive platform
- Ensure smooth user adoption and understanding of the system

Technical Installation
- Conduct pre-installation site visits
- Set up and configure SchoolGrid computer terminals efficiently and effectively
- Complete site installations to the exact specifications provided by our team

Client Relations & Professional Representation
- Act as the first point of professional contact for all client interactions
- Build strong, trusting relationships with school leadership and catering staff
- Foster a culture of transparent and rewarding client success

- Adhere to all school protocols and safeguarding guidelines
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection

- Promote customer retention and ongoing value creation through exemplary service
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential components of this role
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Prior experience in client-facing training, whether or not it's related to software
- Proven ability to effectively onboard or train users on products, systems, or processes
- Success stories where you effectively:
- Guided users through learning curves
- Demonstrated a system or process with clarity and confidence

- DBS clearance is mandatory (or a commitment to obtaining one)
