Freelance STEM & AI Learning Hub Facilitator
Location: Leeds & West Yorkshire (On-site)
Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed
Rate: £22–£40 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities)
About AiTechTouch®
AiTechTouch® by Globally Linked Ltd is an award-winning UK EdTech company, supported by Innovate UK, helping children develop AI literacy, STEM skills, creativity and responsible technology understanding through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
We work with schools, libraries, councils and community organisations while developing our long-term AI education platform.
We're now expanding our AiTechTouch Learning Hub and are looking for experienced freelance facilitators who share our passion for inclusive, high-quality education.
About the Role
As an AiTechTouch Learning Hub Facilitator, you'll independently deliver engaging AI and STEM workshops using our structured curriculum and facilitator resources.
You will create safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environments while representing AiTechTouch professionally with children, families and partner organisations.
Curriculum planning, session resources and learning outcomes are provided, allowing facilitators to focus on delivering exceptional learning experiences.
Current Opportunity
We're currently recruiting facilitators for upcoming Learning Hub delivery across Leeds, including our Healthy Holidays programme.
Typical delivery includes:
- 2-hour workshops
- Primary-aged children (approximately ages 5–11)
- Community venues, schools and libraries
Additional opportunities may become available throughout the year.

What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging STEM and AI workshops
- Facilitate groups confidently and independently
- Adapt activities to different learning needs
- Create inclusive and positive learning environments
- Follow safeguarding, GDPR and Health & Safety procedures
- Represent AiTechTouch professionally
- Complete brief delivery feedback after sessions
We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in hearing from:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS)
- Teaching Assistants
- STEM Educators
- Computing Teachers
- Youth Workers
- Museum or Library Educators
- Outreach Practitioners
- Workshop Facilitators
- Science Communicators
You should have experience working confidently with children and be passionate about inspiring the next generation through creative learning.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong classroom or group management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and reliable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK

Freelance Working Arrangement
This is a self-employed freelance contractor opportunity.
Assignments are offered on a project-by-project basis.
There is no obligation for AiTechTouch to offer future work, nor for facilitators to accept future assignments.
Payment is made following completed delivery against agreed terms.
