Role Description
We are seeking a Freelance Tutor to join our team on a contract basis. Located on-site in the Greater Derby Area, the tutor will deliver focused instruction, guide students through their learning journeys, and provide mentorship tailored to their individual needs.

Core responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Preparing lesson materials
- Assessing student progress
- Delivering engaging sessions
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance
- Collaborating closely with the academy's staff to ensure the highest standards of education are maintained
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively guide students and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Knowledge in management, marketing, or media pathways, with the ability to develop and deliver curriculum content specific to these areas.
- Effective communication, organisation, and time-management skills to manage classroom activities and track student progress.
- Experience with assessment techniques, curriculum planning, and student performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with industry standards and current trends in management, marketing, or media preferred.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and engage collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in education or a related field; teaching certifications are an advantage.
