Freelance Video Editor – Mid-Senior Level
This role focuses on adapting a creator onboarding video series for the German market. The project consists of 10 short videos, each ranging from 2 to 5 minutes, with all English versions already completed and templated. The primary responsibility is to integrate provided German voiceovers, update on-screen text, and adjust imagery as needed to ensure consistency with the established style. All assets, including templates, overlays, and voiceovers, will be supplied. The initial task will be to complete a trial video, and upon approval, proceed with the remaining series. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and experience localizing video content for non-English-speaking audiences.
Responsibilities
Edit and finalize 10 onboarding videos for the German market using supplied assets and templates Integrate German voiceovers, on-screen text, and relevant imagery to match the existing English versions Ensure all videos maintain a consistent style, pacing, and branding Collaborate closely with the project team to implement feedback and revisions Deliver a trial video for review before proceeding with the full series Manage project files and maintain organized workflows for efficient delivery

Skills And Requirements
Proven experience in video editing, preferably with localization or adaptation projects Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) Strong understanding of German language and cultural nuances in media Ability to follow established templates and brand guidelines Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines Experience working with voiceovers, animated overlays, and on-screen text Availability to complete a trial video promptly and commit to the full project upon approval
