Freelance Video Editor – Social Content
This role focuses on creating engaging social media video content to promote a family-friendly soft play cafe in West Ealing, London. The aim is to attract more families for daytime visits and increase party bookings by showcasing the venue’s welcoming atmosphere, excellent coffee, and homemade cakes. The successful candidate will deliver 1–2 high-quality video pieces per month, drawing inspiration from existing Instagram reels and tailoring content to appeal to parents and caregivers seeking fun, safe activities for children.
Deliverables
Produce 1–2 short-form video content pieces per month for social media platforms, primarily Instagram. Capture the unique features of the soft play cafe, including its family-friendly environment, menu highlights, and event hosting capabilities. Edit and optimize videos for maximum engagement and reach, ensuring alignment with the brand’s visual style and tone. Collaborate remotely with the marketing manager to plan content themes and review drafts. Incorporate feedback promptly and deliver final assets within agreed timelines.

Requirements
Proven experience creating video content for social media, ideally for family, child-focused, or hospitality venues. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong understanding of social media trends, especially Instagram Reels and short-form video best practices. Ability to tell a compelling story visually, with attention to pacing, music, and branding. Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas tailored to a family audience. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Based in or able to travel to West Ealing, London for on-site filming as needed. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
